Is the past really behind us, and the future always in front? What happens when you find yourself standing in a present that looks exactly like the small ruins of yesterday?

This new work revolves around the notion that ‘something has occurred here’ asking audiences to uncover what they have buried, and how far below the surface it lies. 

Representing a brave new collective voice for Brisbane’s independent dance scene, The Present Past makes a mess, finishes where it started and leaves an impression.
