Katie Neumann

 

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance Performance) – QUT

Katie Neumann is a Brisbane born and raised dance artist with over 15 years experience in the dance industry. She has studied and performed a number of different dance styles throughout her career including contemporary, hip hop, jazz and tap.

Throughout her careeer, Katie has had the opportunity to work both nationally and internationally. She performed in the Guangdong Modern Dance Festival in China (2009), Brisbane Festival'sUnder THe Radar (2012), Metro Arts' Cross Stitch (2012), and in both the Sydney and Canberra Short Sweet + Dance Festival programs. She also choreographed and performed a work for the Out of The Box Festival (2010) and was commissioned by national law firm Shine Lawyers to choreograph a flash mob routine for the 'Shine Winter Gala 2012'.

Katie is a founding member of MakeShift Dance Collective and has been developing and performing works with the artists of MakeShift for the past 6 years.
